Sarah is a registered social worker and CMI accredited leader with experience in statutory operational & strategic management, safeguarding and quality assurance. She is invested in practice development and improvement, enabling the professional and personal development of others through reflective practice, and practice education. She has a particular interest in frameworks for social work practice, change management, criminology and psychology.
Sarah is a facilitator of learning, and of conversations, a driver of reflective practice and she is experienced in conflict resolution. She is a passionate advocate for children, families and social work professionals, working hard to ensure that any practice is guided by the most up to date and relevant research. She brings knowledge, skills and experience, not just her own, that of each child, each family or each professional she has known in practice. Sarah maintains a professional value and personal standard of finding out what others bring with them, or what they need, thus integrating those very ingredients into collective wisdom and shared goals for children, families, colleagues and partnerships.
