Laurel Wilson is a qualified Social Worker, Typology mentor, and committed enabler of learning. She works closely with newly qualified social workers to build their confidence, practice capability, and professional judgment, providing intensive modelling, coaching, and support rooted in real-world practice.
Laurel brings a clear understanding of what good social work looks like for both children and professionals. She creates safe, relational, and appropriately challenging learning environments where new social workers can grow, experiment, and develop their practice with support that reflects the realities of day-to-day social work.
Through the Typology and Live Learning model, Laurel helps practitioners bridge the gap between academic learning and high-quality practice, ensuring they are equipped to deliver improved outcomes for children and families.
